Attention and Distraction Laboratory

This laboratory, led by Nick Gaspelin, is part of the Cognitive and Brain Sciences program at State University of New York (SUNY) at Binghamton.

*We will be moving to the University of Missouri in Fall 2023. I will be taking Ph.D. students. Please submit graduate applications to Mizzou!*

Our research focuses on understanding the cognitive and neural mechanisms underlying vision, attention, and distraction. To study these topics, we use experiments that measure human behavior, eye movements, and EEG.
